Roots at a joint

Fine roots enter an open joint and grow into a mat that catches paper and grease.

Cut the roots, then seal the joints so they cannot return.

How much digging?

Three dig levels.

Every service on this site carries one of these badges, so you know what to expect before you call.

No dig

Works from existing access

The pipe is reached through a cleanout, a manhole or another opening that already exists. Lawns, drives and floors stay put.

Small access pit

One or two small pits

One or two small, neat pits at the ends of the run. Everything between them stays as it was.

Targeted dig

A short, planned excavation

A short, planned excavation at the spot that failed. We keep it as small as the pipe and the site allow.

How a repair runs

Six steps, no trench.

Every Evo Pipe repair follows the same order, so nothing is skipped.

  1. 01

    Inspect

A recorded camera run shows the pipe’s material, length, bends, defects and connections, and a locator marks its path.

  2. 02

    Clean

Roots, scale and debris are cut and jetted out so the new pipe has a clean surface to seat on.

  3. 03

    Line or replace

A liner is installed inside the old pipe, or the pipe is replaced by bursting or a small, targeted dig.

  4. 04

    Cure

The liner is hardened with hot water, steam or ultraviolet light while temperatures and timing are monitored.

  5. 05

    Reconnect

Side connections are reopened from inside the pipe and cleanouts are restored.

  6. 06

    Verify

A final camera pass records the finished pipe, and you keep the video.

Questions

Trenchless repair, answered.

What does trenchless pipe repair mean?

It means repairing or replacing an underground pipe without digging a continuous trench. Methods include CIPP lining, pipe bursting and sliplining, working from cleanouts, manholes or small pits.

Is trenchless repair always possible?

No. A collapsed pipe, a serious sag or a failed fitting can need excavation. A recorded camera inspection shows which method fits, and we say so plainly.

What is CIPP?

Cured-in-place pipe. A resin-soaked liner is installed in the old pipe and cured until it hardens, forming a new pipe inside the old one.

How much does trenchless repair cost?

It depends on pipe length, diameter, access, preparation and method. Our cost tools show factors with placeholder ranges, and we quote your job after a camera inspection.
