The service

Sewer Lateral CIPP Lining, explained.

Your sewer lateral is the private pipe between the building and the main under the street. It is often the oldest, most root-prone part of the system, and it can run under a lawn, a driveway, a porch or a garage slab. When it fails, the usual answer used to be a long trench across all of that.

Lateral lining installs a new pipe inside the old lateral through an existing cleanout or a small access point. We inspect the full run first, clean it, then line it so the liner reaches the connection at the main. The finished lateral has no open joints, which means no easy path for roots and far fewer places for grease and debris to catch.

How it runs

From first look to finished pipe.

A clear sequence for every job.

  1. 01

    Locate and camera

We find the cleanout, camera the lateral and note its length, bends and any damage.

  2. 02

    Clean the pipe

Roots, scale and debris are cut and jetted out so the liner sits against clean pipe.

  3. 03

    Line the lateral

A resin-saturated liner is installed through the cleanout and cured against the old pipe wall.

  4. 04

    Verify

A final camera pass confirms the finished lateral, including the connection at the main.

Questions

Lateral CIPP Lining FAQ.

Do I need a cleanout?

A cleanout makes access easier. If you do not have one, we can often install one or use another access point such as a toilet flange, depending on the layout.

Will the lining reach the main?

That is the goal. The camera inspection tells us the length and what the connection looks like, and we plan the liner to finish at a sound point near the main.

Can I use the plumbing during the work?

Not while the liner is being installed and cured. We tell you the window ahead of time so you can plan around it.
