CIPP Lining Through Existing Cleanouts, explained.
A sewer cleanout is a capped pipe that gives direct access to your line, usually near the house or at the property line. For trenchless work it is the front door: the camera, the cleaning tools and the liner can all enter through it.
When a cleanout is in the right place and the pipe is in the right condition, lining from it means no excavation at all. If a cleanout is missing, damaged or poorly placed, a new one can often be added as part of the job. We always camera the line first to confirm that the cleanout reaches the damage and that a liner can travel the full run.
