The service

Pipe Coating and Spray Lining, explained.

Spray lining applies a thin layer of coating to the inside of a cleaned pipe using a spinning spray head that travels through it. The coating cures to a hard, smooth skin that seals small leaks and pinholes and protects the metal underneath from further corrosion.

It is used on small-diameter pipes where a full structural liner is not needed, and it works well when pipe is hidden behind walls or under floors. It is not a substitute for a structural repair on a pipe that has lost its shape or strength, so we inspect the pipe first and say honestly whether coating or a liner is the better choice.

Questions

Pipe Coating and Spray Lining FAQ.

Is a coating the same as a liner?

No. A liner is a structural pipe. A coating is a thin protective skin. The right choice depends on the pipe’s condition.

Can coating fix a broken pipe?

No. A broken, collapsed or severely corroded pipe needs a structural repair or replacement.

How long does it last?

It depends on the pipe, the coating and the water or waste it carries. No coating can be promised for life.
