Pre-Lining Sewer Camera Inspection, explained.
A camera inspection is the single most important step in a trenchless repair. A waterproof camera on a push rod or crawler travels the length of the pipe, recording its material, condition, joints, connections, roots, cracks, offsets and low spots. What the pipe really looks like decides whether lining, bursting, a patch or a dig is the right answer.
We record the run so you can see what we see, measure the length and note where each defect sits, using a locator to mark the pipe path above ground. You get a plain-language explanation of the findings and the options that fit, including the ones that are not trenchless. If the camera shows the pipe is fine, we will say that too.

Do you charge for the inspection if I proceed with repair?
Ask us about how inspections are quoted on your job. We explain the terms before we start.
Can the camera see everything?
It sees the pipe interior along the run it can reach. Heavy debris, a collapse or a bend can limit how far it goes, and we note where it stopped.
Will you give me the video?
Yes. The recording is yours to keep, for your records or for a second opinion.
