Full-Length CIPP Sewer Lining, explained.
Cured-in-place pipe lining, or CIPP, builds a new pipe inside the old one. A flexible liner tube saturated with resin is pulled or inverted into the damaged sewer line, pressed against the pipe wall and cured until it hardens. The result is a seamless, jointless pipe that seals cracks, closes the gaps where roots get in and gives the line a smooth interior.
Full-length lining treats the whole run in one pass, from the cleanout or access point to the connection at the main. It is the usual choice when damage is spread along the line, when joints are failing in many places or when a camera shows an old pipe that is simply worn out. Because the work happens from existing access points, most of the lawn, driveway and landscaping stay untouched.
Signs this service fits
- Roots keep coming back through the joints
- A camera shows cracks or open joints along several sections
- The pipe is old clay, cast iron or fiber and wearing out
- You want to avoid a trench through the yard or driveway
A good fit, and what to know.
We would rather you hear the limits from us than discover them later.
A good fit when
- Pipe that is still roughly round with cracks, open joints or root entry
- Lines running under driveways, patios, trees or finished floors
- Homeowners who want to keep the lawn and hardscape in place
Worth knowing
- A collapsed section or a deep sag usually needs excavation or replacement, because a liner follows the shape of the old pipe
- A camera inspection comes first, and it can show that another method fits better
Why choose this one.
Little or no digging
Work happens from cleanouts or a small access point, so lawns and driveways stay intact.
Seamless interior
No joints means nowhere for roots to enter and a smooth surface for flow.
Whole line in one pass
Cracks, open joints and rough spots are covered together instead of one at a time.
A recorded result
A camera pass after curing shows the finished liner.
From first look to finished pipe.
A clear sequence for every job.
- 01
Camera and cleaning
We camera the line, clean it with a jetter and clear roots so the liner can sit tight against clean pipe.
- 02
Liner prepared
The liner is sized to your pipe, saturated with resin and readied for installation.
- 03
Liner installed
The liner is inverted or pulled through the line, then inflated so it presses against the old pipe wall.
- 04
Cure and reopen
The liner is cured, side connections are reopened and a final camera pass shows the finished pipe.

How long does full-length lining take?
It depends on the length, diameter and cure method. Many residential lines are done in a day. We give you a realistic window after the camera inspection, and the line is out of service while the liner cures.
Will the liner reduce my pipe size?
The liner is thin, so the inside diameter shrinks only slightly. The smooth wall often flows as well as or better than the rough old pipe.
Is lining a permanent fix?
Industry standards commonly describe liner designs of around 50 years, but no repair can be promised for life. The result depends on the host pipe, installation and conditions underground.
